Reference is made to our contract number 220041 B dated July 20,2001 covering the
operation and maintenance of the community water system and secondary sewer
system at County's Elkhorn Correctional Facility.
The contract with your company expires June 16,2004.The County of Fresno requests
that this Agreement be amended as follows:
1.This Agreement shall be extended for an additional one (1)year effective June 17,
2004 through June 16,2005.
2.Agreement shall automatically renew for an additional one (1)year period except when
written notice is delivered by either party to the other expressing intent not to renew.
Such notice must be delivered a minimum of siXty(60)days prior to the next expiration
date of this Agreement.The maximum number of automatic one (1)year renewal
periods under this Agreement shall be one (1).
Acknowledge your acceptance by returning all pages of the signed original of this letter
to my office,retaining a copy for your files.
