Our goal is to offer individuals and families an opportunity not only to meet their immediate
needs, but to address the underlying causes of their circumstances and to make
empowerment of those we serve, especially the poor and vulnerable, central to our work.
Our current projects and commitments are to serve clients 5 days per week 52 weeks per
year, Catholic Charities provides emergency food and clothing, immigration services,
refugee resettlement assistance, guidance to those in crisis, and shelter to homeless
individuals and their families. In addition, we serve the elders of the community through
the Senior Companion program. The Representative Payee program provides fiscal
management for seniors and the mentally disabled and the Thrift Store gives those
seeking jobs an opportunity to dress for success. We also partner with several state and
local agencies to provide other types of assistance.
Catholic Charities is serving our local communities by focusing on our motto
Providing Help, Creating Hope.
