CONSULTANT AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT for specialized professional Environmental Consultant Services,
hereinafter referred to as the "AGREEMENT," is made and entered into this{)ta~ day of
Vo 0,11 6 ~ 2016, by and between the COUNTY OF FRESNO, a political subdivision of
the State of California, hereinafter referred to as the "COUNTY'; and Live Oak Associates,
Inc., a California Corporation, whose address is 39930 Sierra Way, Suite 8, Oakhurst, CA
93644, hereinafter referred to as the "CONSULTANT".
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, the COUNTY desires to retain the CONSULTANT to provide on-call
specialized professional environmental consulting services to assist COUNTY in complying
with federal and state environmental laws, regulations and guidelines as necessary for
road, landfill and capital improvement projects (hereinafter referred to as "PROJECT(S))"
proposed by the COUNTY; and
WHEREAS, said CONSULTANT has been selected in accordance with the
COUNTY's Ordinance Code Chapter 4.1 0 on the selection of architects, engineers, and
other professionals to provide the engineering services necessary for the PROJECTS; and
WHEREAS, the individual listed below

is designated as the CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR for the AGREEMENT on behalf of the
COUNTY, and shall remain so unless the CONSULTANT is otherwise notified in writing by
the COUNTY's Director of Public Works and Planning or his/her designee (hereinafter
referred to as "the DIRECTOR"); and
