TO: AVISON CONSTRUCTION, INC.:
Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for
this contract. Because of the change(s), TWO (2) -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract time.
PLACE A 16" WATER LINE 8' BELOW FINISH GRADE— EXTRA WORK
This change was requested by the City of Fresno.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, install a 16"
water line from sta. 91+53 to sta. 92+08 to the depth of 8' below finish grade, and place slurry with 4-mil
Visqueen. This change is being made due to conflicts with the underground utilities. Perform all work according
to the applicable sections of the Standard Specifications and the Special Provisions. Payment for this work will
be made as extra work at an agreed lumpsum price of$38,035.00 according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment
Scope," of the Special Provisions and Standard Specifications. This price includes compensation for all labor,
materials, equipment, overhead costs, markups, profits, and incidentals for performing the work.
Two (2) working days will be added to the contract time for the above referenced extra work, in accordance
with Section 8-1.078, "Time Adjustments," of the Standard Specifications.
