Holt FR�Cj Director of Behavioral Health Public Guardian December 12, 2025 Kent Dunlap, President and Chief Executive Officer Central Star Behavioral Health Inc. 1501 Hughs Way, Suite 150 Long Beach, CA 90810 RE: Six-month Extension of License Agreement No. 25-278 Adolescent Youth Acute Psychiatric Health Facility Dear Mr. Dunlap: Agreement No. 25-278, which was approved by the Board of Supervisors on June 24, 2025, allows the option of one six-month extension for the Youth Psychiatric Health Facility services upon written approval of both parties and authorized by the Director to execute such written approval on behalf of the County. Department staff have reviewed the performance of Central Star Behavioral Health Inc. in providing the contracted services and find it continues to be satisfactory. Based upon email communications between our agencies on December 9, 2025, regarding intent to utilize the final extension, I would like to extend the agreement from January 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026. If you, as the signing authority for Central Star Behavioral Health Inc., would also like the agreement to be extended as stated, please sign and date below and e-mail a copy of the signed letter to Andrew Romero, Staff Analyst at anromero(c-)fresnocountyca.aov. by December 17, 2025.
