RE: Six-month Extension of License Agreement No. 25-278 Adolescent Youth Acute Psychiatric
Health Facility
Dear Mr. Dunlap:
Agreement No. 25-278, which was approved by the Board of Supervisors on June 24, 2025, allows
the option of one six-month extension for the Youth Psychiatric Health Facility services upon written
approval of both parties and authorized by the Director to execute such written approval on behalf of
the County.
Department staff have reviewed the performance of Central Star Behavioral Health Inc. in providing
the contracted services and find it continues to be satisfactory. Based upon email communications
between our agencies on December 9, 2025, regarding intent to utilize the final extension, I would
like to extend the agreement from January 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026. If you, as the signing
authority for Central Star Behavioral Health Inc., would also like the agreement to be extended as
stated, please sign and date below and e-mail a copy of the signed letter to Andrew Romero, Staff
Analyst at anromero(c-)fresnocountyca.aov. by December 17, 2025.
Respectfully,
