HomeMy WebLinkAbout2328C CCO 02.pdf COUNTY OF FRESNO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER COUNTY SERVICE AREA 44C CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 WATER DISTRIBUTION FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS SEPTEMBER 9, 2025 CONTRACT NO. 23-28-C PAGE 1 OF 2 TO: WEST VALLEY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC.: Make the following change(s) to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for this contract. Because of the proposed change(s), ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS will be granted to the allotted contract time. FURNISH AND INSTALL TWO (2)ADDITIONAL 4-INCH GATE VALVES AND ONE (1) 4-INCH DUCTILE IRON COUPLING — EXTRA WORK This change was requested by the contractor. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, furnish and install two (2) additional 4-inch gate valves to isolate the existing well and one (1) 4-inch ductile iron coupling to reconnect the water lines following the abandonment of the existing water tank and hydropneumatic tank. Perform all work according to the applicable sections of the Standard Specification and Project Specifications. The compensation adjustment will be made at an agreed lumpsum price of$5,200.00 according to Section 9- 1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Special Provisions. This additional compensation includes compensation for material labor, equipment, overhead costs, profits and markups, and incidentals for performing the above referenced work, no additional compensation will be made thereafter. This compensation adjustment amount of$5,200.00 will be paid through Bid Item No.1, Supplemental Work, with no net increase to the contract. This change did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted.
