TO: G&J HEAVY HAUL, INC.:
Make the following change(s) to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for
this contract. Because of the proposed change(s), 10 -WORKING DAYS will be granted to the allotted
contract time. The revised project completion date is August 28, 2025.
PART I: INSTALL ADDITIONAL FENCE - EXTRA WORK
This extra work was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, furnish and
install approximately 8,930 linear feet of 6-feet tall chain-link fence, with three (3) strands of barbwire as shown
on the attached plan sheet. Perform all work according to Section 80, "Fences," of the Standard Specifications,
and Section 32 31 00, "Fencing," of the Technical Specifications, as directed by the Resident Engineer.
Payment for this work will be made as an agreed lumpsum price of$236,724.77, according to Section 9-1.03,
"Payment Scope," of the Special Provisions. This amount will be paid as extra work.
A total of 10 -working days will be added to the contract time for the above referenced extra work.

TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART I: 10 -WORKING DAYS
PART II: INCREASE ITEMS AT UNIT PRICES
This change was proposed by the engineer.
Item quantities in the bid book and subsequent change orders are estimates only. This part adjusts item
quantities to the actual quantities used.

This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.
