PART I: REMOVE AND REPLACE EXISTING STRIPING (MERCED AVENUE INTERSECTION) This change was requested by the engineer. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, blackout the existing striping at the Merced Avenue intersection which was placed in Phase 1 of the Golden State Boulevard Project and place new striping to match the current project striping. Compensation for the additional striping will be made at unit bid prices of the pertaining bid items (shown below), compensation to blackout the existing striping will be made at the agreed unit price of$0.81 per linear foot, in accordance with Section 9- 1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. Total compensation for the removal of the existing striping resulted in $2,159.46, this amount will be paid as extra work. Compensation for the additional striping will be made at unit bid prices of the pertaining bid items (shown below), compensation for the removal of the existing striping (includes sealing of the surface) will be made at the agreed unit prices; $1.93 per linear foot for Detail 12, and $2.20 per linear foot for Details 25, 38, 38A, 39, and 39A, in accordance with Section 9- 1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. Total compensation for the additional striping resulted in $3,166.75, this amount will be paid through Bid Item Nos. 56, 58, and 59. Total compensation for the removal of the existing striping resulted in $3,030.53, this amount will be paid as extra work. This change did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted. COUNTY OF FRESNO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER GOLDEN STATE BOULEVARD PHASE 2 CHANGE ORDER NO. 02 DRAPER STREET TO CLAYTON AVENUE JULY 25, 2025 STATE PROJECT NUMBER: SB1 LPPL-5942(307) PAGE 5 OF 7 CONTRACT NO. 24-18-C In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, replace Plan Sheet 83 with the attached revised Plan Sheet 83A. The revision to the plan sheet includes the addition of delineators to be placed around the guardrails of Adams Ave intersection. Compensation for the additional delineators will be made at the agreed unit price; $75.00 per delineator, in accordance with Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. A total of 8 delineators are to be installed which includes the installation cost, total compensation resulted in (8 x 75 = 600) with an additional 10% markup of the total price, total compensation resulted in (600 * 0.10 = 660) $660. Total compensation for the installing the surface mounted delineators resulted in $660, this amount will be paid as extra work. This change did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted. TOTAL COST PART V: $660.00 INCREASE TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART V: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS PART VI: REVISE PROJECT PLANS (HIGHLAND AVENUE INTERSECTION) This change was requested by the engineer. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, replace Plan Sheet 21 with the attached revised Plan Sheet 21A. The revision to the plan sheet includes the addition of 50 feet of pavement transition for the S/B concrete panel north of Highland Ave intersection. Compensation for the additional cold plane and striping will be made at unit bid prices of the pertaining bid items (shown below), in accordance with Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. Total compensation for the additional striping resulted in $745, this amount will be paid through Bid Item Nos. 56, 58, and 59. This change did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted. TOTAL COST PART VI: $1,795.00 INCREASE TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART VI: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS PART VII: INSTALL GUARDRAIL TERMINAL SYSTEM AND END ANCHOR MATERIALS - EXTRA WORK This change was requested by the engineer. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, install a terminal system and end anchor assemblies for the guardrail at Adams and Golden State Boulevard intersection per the revised Plan Sheet 31A (attached). Compensation for the materials will be made at an agreed price of $3,216.44, in accordance with Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. This agreed price includes compensation for all labor, materials, equipment, traffic, incidentals, overheads, markups, and profits, no additional compensation will be made thereafter. This amount will be paid as extra work. This change did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted.
