Because of the change(s), ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS will be added to the allotted contract time. PART I: REVISE PROJECT PLANS (DINUBA AVENUE INTERSECTION) This change was requested by the engineer. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, replace Plan Sheets 78 and 79 with the attached revised Plan Sheets 78A and 79A. The revision to the striping includes removing and replacing the transition striping, which were placed in Phase 1 of the Golden State Boulevard Project. Compensation for the additional striping will be made at unit bid prices of the pertaining bid items (shown below), and compensation for the removal of the existing striping (includes sealing of the surface) will be made at the agreed unit prices; $1.93 per linear foot for Detail 12, and $2.20 per linear foot for Details 25, 38, 38A, 39, and 39A, in accordance with Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. Also, a total of 2,580 linear feet of Details 25, 38, 38A, 39, and 39A were removed, total compensation resulted in (2,580 x 2.20 = 5,676) $5,676. Total compensation for the additional striping resulted in $8,299, this amount will be paid through Bid Item Nos. 56, 58, and 59. Total compensation for the removal of the existing striping resulted in $7,335.80, this amount will be paid as extra work. This change did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted. Total compensation for the additional striping resulted in $3,695.76, this amount will be paid through Bid Item Nos. 54, 55, 57, and 62. Total compensation for the blackout of the existing striping resulted in $901.53, this amount will be paid as extra work. This change did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted. TOTAL COST PART III: $1,848.75 INCREASE TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART III: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS PART IV: REMOVE AND REPLACE EXISITING STRIPING (ADAMS AVENUE INTERSECTION) This change was requested by the engineer. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, blackout the existing striping at the Adams Avenue intersection which was placed in Phase 1 of the Golden State Boulevard Project and place new striping to match the current project striping. Compensation for the additional striping will be made at unit bid prices of the pertaining bid items (shown below), compensation to blackout the existing striping will be made at the agreed unit price of$0.81 per linear foot, and compensation for removing the Type I arrows pavement marking and sealing the surface will be made at a unit price of$3.30 per square foot, in accordance with Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. Total compensation for the addition striping resulted in $2,341.52, this amount will be paid through Bid Item Nos. 54, 55, and 57. Total compensation for the removal of the existing striping and pavement marking resulted in $2,258.46, this amount will be paid as extra work. This change did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted.
