Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for
this contract. Because of the change(s), 215 -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract time.

This adjustment was proposed by the engineer.
Quantities in the Bid Book are estimates only. This part adjusts items to the actual quantities used.

PART II: GRANT A TIME EXTENSION
This time extension was requested by the contractor.
Grant a 212 -working days' time extension to the allotted contract time according to Section 8-1.07B, "Time
Adjustments," of the Special Provisions. This time extension is being granted due to the delays caused by
replacing the signal pole on the southwest corner after it was hit and damaged.

PART III: REMOVE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOT MIX ASPHALT RAMPS AND EXTEND CONCRETE
SIDEWALKS/RAMPS AT ALL FOUR CORNERS
This extra work was authorized by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, furnish all labor,
equipment, and materials, to remove asphalt ramps and extend the concrete sidewalks/ramps at all four
corners. Extend the sidewalk/ramps approximately three (3) feet beyond the traffic signal pole bases, to the
limits determined by the Resident Engineer. Perform all work according to the applicable sections of the
Standard Specifications, Special Provisions, and/or City of Fresno Specifications, as directed by the Resident
Engineer. Payment for this work will be made at force account according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope,"
of the Special Provisions. Payment for this work was calculated according to Section 9-1.04, "Force Account,"
of the Standard Specifications, resulting in an increase of$11,761.60.
A total of three (3) working days will be added to the contract time for this work.
