Because of the change(s), 10 -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract timeline. PART I: GRANT A TIME EXTENSION This time extension was requested by the contractor. Grant a 10-working days'time extension to the allotted contract time for the Second Order of Work due to the additional field exploratory work and replacement/relocation of the 10 new water meters (addressed previously in CCO No. 2, Part 1) in the County Service Area (CSA) 10. This time extension is being granted according to Section 8-1.07B, "Time Adjustments," of the Special Provisions. TOTAL COST PART I: $0.00 (NO COST) TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART I: 10 -WORKING DAYS PART II: INSTALL ADDITIONAL/ALTERNATIVE ITEMS— EXTRA WORK These additional/alternative items were requested by the contractor. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, install additional/alternative items as extra work at the pertaining CSA as shown below. Perform all work according to the Standard Specifications, Special Provisions, and/ or manufacturer's recommendation, as directed by the engineer. Compensation for these items will be made at the agreed unit price shown below, in accordance with Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Special Provisions. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, increase Bid Item No. 60, Water Meter Box Steel Lid Retrofit or New Lid by four(4) units. This bid item was previously reduced, however, is now being increased per the actual field exploration. Compensation for the increased quantity will be paid at the unit bid price of$712.00 according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Special Provisions.
