Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for
this contract. Because of the ohmn0e(n). will be added tn the contract time.
PAINT DIAGONAL STRIPE PATTERNS BETWEEN STA' G6+f0 AND STA. 72*M0 (LEFT) -EXTRA WORK
This extra work was requested bx the engineer.
|n accordance with Section 4-1.O5. "Changes and Extra VVurh." of the Standard 3owc0fications. paint 4-
vvide diagonal stripe patterns using white paint, between approximate sta. 85+1D and sta. 72+OOUeft\.
behind the curb and gutter, in the Kingsburg region, as shown on the attached revised Plan Sheet 82A.
Perform all work according to Section 84-2, "Traffic Stripes and Pavement Markings,"of the Standard
Specifications. Compensation for this work will be made at an agreed lump sum price of$3,657.50,
according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope,"of the Special Provisions. This agreed price includes
compensation for all materials, labor, equipment, incidental, markups, and profits, no additional
compensation will be allowed thereafter for this work. This amount will be paid as extra work.
This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project,therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.
