TO: ZIM INDUSTRIES, INC.:
Make the following change(s) to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications
for this contract. Because of the proposed change(s), 721 -WORKING DAYS will be granted to the allotted
contract time. The revised date of completion for the project was November 19, 2024.
GRANT A TIME EXTENSION
Grant a time extension of 721-working days to the allotted contract due to the design modifications
associated with the groundwater table changes, excessive time required for vendors to provide
submittals for the new equipment, long lead time for equipment and materials and additional time
required by the engineers to review and approve submittals.
There were some delays caused by the contractor. The compensation adjustment/settlement for the
contractor's delays will be addressed in the subsequent change order.
This time extension is being granted according to Section 8-1.07B, "Time Adjustments," of the Special
Provisions.
