LESSOR AND LESSEE may, hereinafter, be referred to collectively as "Parties' or individually as "Party''. WIT N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE are Parties to that certain Lease Agreement, dated December 21, 1999, as amended by the First Amendment, dated March 13, 2002 (together, hereinafter the "LEASE'); and WHEREAS, LESSEE uses the Premises as a vehicle parking lot for County employees; and WHEREAS, LEASE and the First Amendment thereto erroneously identify the "Fresno County Office of Education' as LESSOR of the Premises; and WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE desire to amend the LEASE to increase the number of parking stalls reserved for LESSOR and reduce the number of parking stalls leased by LESSEE and to decrease the rent per month accordingly; and desire to correct the identity of the LESSOR; NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which is hereby acknowledged, the Parties agree as follows: ' ,. ' 1. Paragraph 3. RENT of the LEASE is deleted and replaced with the following: "3. RENT-The rent shall be paid on or before first of each of each month according to the following schedule: • January 1, 2000 to March 31, 2002 $1,000.00 per month • April1, 2002 to July 30, 2015 $ 950.00 per month • August 1, 2015 $ 700.00 per month' 2. Paragraph 17. LESSOR AND LESSEE PARKING STALLS-The parking stalls reserved for LESSOR and LESSEE use for the period shown below shall be: I Augu~a~~ 2015 I LESSOR LESSEE 37 72 LESSOR shall designate the parking stalls reserved for LESSOR use with signage and markings." 3. Correction as to LESSOR Name: "Fresno County Superintendent of Schools" shall be substituted as LESSOR in every place in the LEASE and the First Amendment thereto where there is a reference to "Fresno County Office of Education." The Parties agree that this SECOND AMENDMENT is sufficient to amend the LEASE. The LEASE is hereby amended, ratified and continued. It is the intent of the Parties that all other provisions of the LEASE shall remain unchanged.
