IN THE MATTER OF AMENDMENT TO THE)
AGREEMENT WITH THE 21ST AGRICUL-)
TURAL ASSOCIATION TO INCREASE THE)
WATER STORAGE CAPACITY AND EXTEND)
THE TIME FOR COMPLETION ) CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE
WHEREAS, on April 6, 1971, the Board entered into an
agreement with the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District and
the 21st District Agricultural Association for the excavation of
the infield of the racetrack to construct a storm water ponding
basin and during fatr time, a parking lot; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned parties desire to amend
said agreement to increase the water storage capacity fromm
320,000 cubic yards to 411,700 cubic yards and extend the period
of time allowed for completion of said project as more particularl
described in said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, acting upon the recommendation of the
Director of Public Works and upon motion of SuperVisor Donaldson,
seconded by Supervisor Cassidy, and carried, the Chairman is hereb
authorized and directed to execute the aforementioned amendment
to the agreement with the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control Dis-
trict and the 21st District Agricultural Association.
ADOPTED by the Fresno County Board of Supervisors this
15th day of May, 1973, by the Following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Supervisors Donaldson, Cassidy, Rodriguez,
Ventura, Krebs
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
