COUNTY OF FRESNO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER GOLDEN STATE BOULEVARD PHASE I CHANGE ORDER NO. 28 AMERICAN AVENUE TO MISSION STREET JULY 25, 2024 CONTRACT NO. 22-14-C PAGE 2 OF 4 PART 11: COMPENSATE FOR PAINTING ASPHALT CONCRETE DIKE AND CONCRETE CURB NOSES IN SELMA AND FOWLER REGIONS—EXTRA WORK This compensation adjustment was requested by the contractor. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work,"of the Standard Specifications, compensate the contractor for painting the asphalt concrete dike between sta. 358+96 and sta. 361+29; concrete curb noses at Park Street, North Street, Thompson Street, Floral Avenue, Branch Street, and Highland Avenue in the Selma region; and concrete noses at San Antonio Drive in the Fowler region. Compensation for this work will be made as an agreed price of$3,850, according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope,"of the Special Provisions. This agreed price includes all materials, labor, equipment, traffic control, incidentals, markups, overhead costs and profits, no additional compensation will be made for this work. This amount will be paid as extra work. This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted. TOTAL COST PART II: A $3,860.00 INCREASE TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART II: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS PART III: MOW VEGETATION IN THE SHOULDERS AND MEDIAN AREAS THROUGHOUT PROJECT LIMITS—EXTRA WORK This extra work was requested by the engineer. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work,"of the Standard Specifications, mow the weeds in the shoulders and median areas throughout the project site as directed by the engineer. Perform all work in accordance with Section 20-1.03C, "Roadside Clearing,"of the Standard Specifications. Compensation for this work will be made at force account according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope,"of the Special Provisions. Total compensation for this work resulted in $28,797.06, this amount will be paid as extra work. This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work,"of the Standard Specifications, repair a damaged irrigation line at the Whitson and Second Streets intersection as extra work. This irrigation was damaged during boring for the 4-inch sleeve for new median irrigation line. This existing line,which was damaged,was not marked, nor it was shown on the plans. Perform all work in accordance with Section 20-2.01 C, "Construction,"of the Standard Specifications. Compensation for this work will be made at force account according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope,"of the Special Provisions.Total compensation for this work resulted in $5,141,this amount will be paid as extra work. This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project,therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted.
