Because of the change(s), SEVEN (7) -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract time. PART I: REPAIR AN EXISTING ELECTRICAL CONDUIT—EXTRA WORK This change was requested by the engineer. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, repair existing 3-inch vacant damaged conduit between Modules 9 and 10. This conduit will be utilized for the electrical components for Modules 9 and 10 as per project plans. This work consists of videotaping to locate the blocked/damaged portion; excavating and replacing the damaged section; replacing the existing pull rope; and backfill and compacting the excavated area. Perform all work in accordance with the applicable sections of the Special Provisions and/or Standard Specifications. Compensation for this work will be made at an agreed lumpsum price of$9,422.17 according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Special Provisions. This agreed price includes compensation of all materials, labor, equipment, traffic control, overhead costs, markups, profits, and incidentals for performing the work. This amount will be paid through Bid Item No. 1, Supplemental Work Allowance, with no net increase to the contract. This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted.
