HomeMy WebLinkAbout2309SW CCO 01.pdf COUNTY OF FRESNO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER SOUTHEAST REGIONAL DISPOSAL SITE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 PERIMETER FENCE REPLACEMENT JULY 9, 2024 CONTRACT NO.: 23-09-SW PAGE 1 OF 3 TO: AJ EXCAVATION, INC: Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for this contract. Because of the change(s), 10 -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract time. PART I: REPAIR EROSION AREA —EXTRA WORK This change was requested by the engineer. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, repair approximately 20-feet by 20-feet eroded slope area along Academy Avenue, approximately 1,800 feet n/o Dinuba Avenue. This work includes grading and addressing the eroded area and placing approximately 46 tons of 6-inch riprap and approximately 23 tons of Class 2 Aggregate Base. Perform all work according to the applicable sections of the Standard Specifications and/or Special Provisions, as directed by the Resident Engineer. Compensation for this work will be made at an agreed lumpsum price of$11,415 according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Special Provisions. This agreed price includes compensation of all materials, labor, equipment, traffic control, overhead costs, markups, profits, and incidentals for performing the work. This amount will be paid through Bid Item No. 1, Supplemental Work, with no net increase to the contract. Five additional working days will be granted for this work. TOTAL COST PART I: $0.00 (PAID IN BID ITEM NO. 1) TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART I: FIVE (5) -WORKING DAYS PART II: REMOVE AND DISPOSE IRRIGATION LINES, STEEL PIPE RISERS, AND SPRINKLERS— EXTRA WORK This change was requested by the engineer. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, remove and dispose approximately 6,025 linear feet of irrigation lines (3 to 8-inch in diameter), and approximately 230 steel pipe risers (3/4-inch diameter) with sprinkler heads. Perform all work according to Section 15, "Existing Facilities," of the Standard Specifications, as directed by the Resident Engineer. Compensation for this work will be made at an agreed lumpsum price of$2,200 according to Section 9- 1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Special Provisions. This agreed price includes compensation of all materials, labor, equipment, traffic control, overhead costs, markups, profits, and incidentals for performing the work. This amount will be paid through Bid Item No. 1, Supplemental Work, with no net increase to the contract. Five additional working days will be granted for this work.
