7 Recitals
8 A. On yN8rCh 5' 2024th8 County and the Contractor entered into Purchasing Agreement,
9 which iS County agreement number P-24-111 (~Agreernent''). for disability advocacy and legal
10 representation for Housing and Disability Advocacy Pn]grBnl (H[}AP) o|i8nts.
11 B. There is 8 sufficient amount 0f funds remaining in the initial Agreement P-24'111 to
12 support an extension of the Agreement for 8n additional two months. Both the County and
13 Contractor are in agreement to prolong the duration of the current Agreement in order to
14 maximize the PBDl8|DinQ funds before finalizing o new agreement.
15 C. The County and the Contractor now desire to amend the Agreement to extend the
16 termination date to August31. 2024.
17 The parties therefore agree as follows:
18 1. Page Two /2\, Article two (2). Section Two '2\ beginning OU Line Three (3)with
19 ''JunS" and ending on Page Two (2), ArtideTvvo (2)' Section Two (2) Line Three /3\ with "3O" Of
20 the Agreement P-24-111 is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the hd|Ovving: "August 31"
21 Z. Page Two (2). /\d|o|e Three (3). Section One (1) beginning on L|D8 Twenty-Seven
22 (27)with "JUD8" and ending on Page Two (2`^ Article Three (3). Section One (1) Line TweOty-
23 Eight /28\ with ''30" of the Agreement P-24-111 is deleted in its entirety and nap!@cnd with the
24 following: "August 31"
25 3. When both parties have s|gned this Amendment No. 1. the Aoreernent, and this
26 Amendment No. 1 together constitute the Agreement.
27 4. The Contractor represents and warrants to the County that:

1 a. The Contractor is duly authorized and empowered to sign and perform its
2 obligations under this Amendment. ,
3 b. The individual signing this /\rneOdnDert on behalf Cfthe Contractor is duly
4 authorized todoso and his or her 31gUg1UnR on this Amendment legally binds the
5 Contractor tO the terms of this Amendment. '
8 5. This Amendment may be signed in countorpods, each of which is an original,
7 and all Df which together constitute this Amendment.
8 6. The Agreement a& amended by this Amendment No. 1 iS ratified and continued.
S All provisions 0f the Agreement and not amended by this Amendment NO. 1 remain in full force
