HomeMy WebLinkAbout2307M CCO 01.pdf COUNTY OF FRESNO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER ROAD MAINTENANCE AND REHABILITATION CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 ACCOUNT (SB-1) ASPHALT CONCRETE OVERLAYS JUNE 3, 2024 VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN FRESNO COUNTY PAGE 1 OF 2 CONTRACT NO. 23-07-M TO: YARBS GRADING AND PAVING, INC: Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for this contract. Because of the change(s), ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract time. PLACE GEOSYNTHETIC PAVEMENT INTERLAYER (PAVING MAT) ON LOCATION NO. 13A, WOODY LANE (CSA-35AK)—EXTRA WORK This change was requested by the engineer. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, place Geosynthetic Pavement Interlayer (paving mat) on Location No. 13A, Wood Lane (CSA-35AK). Use approved materials (paving mat and asphalt binder) per the approved Submittal No. 23 for this project. Perform all work according to the Section 39-2.01 C(3)(g), "Geosynthetic Pavement Interlayer," of the Special Provisions. The estimated quantity for the paving mat is 2,500 square yards and 3.50 tons for the asphalt binder. Compensation for this work will be made at an agreed unit price of$3.92 per square yard for the paving mat and $1.00 per ton for the asphalt binder, per Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Special Provisions. Total estimated cost for this work is (2,500 square yards x $3.92 per square yard + 3.50 tons x $1.00 per ton) $ $9,803.50. Actual cost will be determined in the field upon completion of this work, and if necessary, adjustments will be made in a subsequent change order. This agreed unit price includes compensation of all materials, labor, equipment, traffic control, overhead costs, markups, profits, and incidentals for performing the work. The actual payable amount will be paid as extra work. This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was not warranted. _Contractor We, the above signed contractor,have considered the change proposed and hereby agree, if this proposal is Auditor Controller approved,that we will provide all equipment, furnish all materials, except as may otherwise be noted above, Business office and perform all services necessary for the work above specified,and will accept as full payment therefore the Board of Supervisors _Const.Management prices shown above. RE/Arch. _Design If the Contractor does not sign acceptance of this order, his attention is directed to the requirements of the specifications as to proceeding with the ordered work and filing a written protest within the time therein specified.
