this contract. Because of the ohonge(s). will be added to the contract timeline.
PART 1: INSTALL BATTERY-OPERATED TIMERS FOR SPRINKLER VALVES IN THE CENTER
MEDIAN(SELMA REGION) 'EXTRA WORK
This extra work was requested bv the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work,"of the Standard Specifications, install m
total of 33 battery-operated timers on the irrigation valves throughout the landscaped median in the
Selma region. Perform all work in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Upon
obtaining permanent power connection from the PG&E, remove these battery-operated controllers and
oonneottheirhBationove|veotothepemnanentuonUoUero.Thonemnovedbattery-mparmbsdcontnoUema
are to be handed over to the engineer. Compensation for this work will be made at an agreed lumpsum
price of$8,085.00 according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope,"of the Special Provisions. This
amount includes compensation for all labor, equipnnent, materials, traffic controls, incidentals, marhupo,
and profit for the above referenced work, no additional compensation will be made. This amount will be
paid es extra work.

PART II: INSTALL ADDITIONAL IRRIGATION LINES FOR THE MEDIAN LANDSCAPE XNTHE SELAOA
REGION_EXTRA WORK
This change was requested bv the contractor.
|n accordance with Section 4-1.O5. "Changes and Extra VVork'"ofthe Standard Specifications, install
eppnoninnaba|v 320 linear feet of 1 %—inch Schedule 40 PVC piping in the landscape median in the
Selma region to overcome the lower water pressure issue. This work consists of installing above-
ground, two separate lines from Controller A to Valve A5 and Valve A7, and two separate lines from
Controller D to Valve D5 and Valve D6; running and testing sprinklers to assure adequate water spray
and proper function; and then burying these lines at their final locations. Perform all work in accordance
with Section 20-2, "Irrigation," of the Standard Specifications and/or the ProjectGpmcifioetiona.
Compensation for this work will be made as extra work at force account according to Section 9-1.03,
"Payment Scopa."mfthe Special Provisions. Total compensation for this work resulted in $8,149.51,
this amount will be paid as extra work.

PART III: INSTALL HANDRAILING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF NORTH STREET AND WHITSON
STREET INTERSECTION—EXTRA WORK
This extra work was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications,fabricate
and install approximately 25 linear feet of handrailing at the ramp at the southeast corner of North
Street and Whitson Street, as shown on the attached revised Plans Sheets 51 B and 70C. Perform all
work in accordance with Section 83-2, "Metal Railing and Barriers,"of the Standard Specifications.
Yarb's crew members fabricated and installed the handrail per the revised plans at ADA ramp at the SE
corner of North and Whitson. Compensation for this work will be made as extra work at force account
according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope,"of the Special Provisions.Total compensation for this
work resulted in $4,507.29, this amount will be paid as extra work.
This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project,therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.
TOTAL COST PART III: A $4,607.29 INCREASE
TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART III: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS
PART IV: INSTALL BRICK PATTERN IN THE CONCRETE WALKWAY AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER
OF FRONT STREET AND NORTH STREET(SELMA REGION) -EXTRA WORK
This extra work was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, install
approximately 21-inch wide and 79-feet long brick pattern in the concrete sidewalk at the northwest
corner of Front Street and North Street as shown on the attached Plan Sheet 67B. Perform all work
according to Section 73, "Concrete Curbs and Sidewalks," of the Standard Specifications.
Compensation for this work will be made at an agreed lumpsum price of$6,444.05, according to
Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope,"of the Special Provisions. This amount includes compensation for all
labor, equipment, materials, traffic controls, incidentals, markups, and profit for the above referenced
work, no additional compensation will be made. This amount will be paid as extra work.
This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project,therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.

PART V: ADJUST FIRE HYDRANT AT STA. 79+65(LT)TO MATCH NEW CURB RAMP AND SIDEWALK
GRADES(KINGSBURG REGION)—EXTRA WORK
This extra work was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work,"of the Standard Specifications, adjust fire
hydrant to match the sidewalk at curb ramp grades at sta. 79+65(LT) in the Kingsburg region as extra work.
Perform all work according to Section 15, "Existing Facilities,"of the Standard Specifications. Compensation
for this work will be made at force account according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope,"of the Special
Provisions. Total compensation for this work resulted in $2,160.64, this amount will be paid as extra work.
This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project,therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.

NET TIME EXTENSION PART V: ZERO(0) -WORKING DAYS
PART VI: REMOVE A TREE AND GRIND STUMP IN CONFLICT WITH THE PROPOSED CURB AND
GUTTER AT STA. 355+60(LT) IN SELMA REGION—EXTRA WORK
This extra work was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work,"of the Standard Specifications, remove
an existing tree and grind stump in conflict with the proposed curb and gutter at sta. 355+50(LT)in the
Selma Region. Dispose of tree and stump outside of the road right-of-way. Perform all work in
accordance with Section 17-2, "Clearing and Grubbing,"of the Standard Specifications and/or Project
Specifications. Compensation for this work will be made as extra work at force account according to
Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope,"of the Special Provisions.Total compensation for this work resulted
in $13,422.77, this amount will be paid as extra work.
This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project,therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.

PART VII: INSTALL A CHAIN-LINK FENCE ENCLOSURE AROUND THE STORM DRAIN OUTLET IN
PONDING BASIN IN KINGSBURG REGION—EXTRA WORK
This extra work was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, install an
8-feet x 8-feet x 4-feet chain link fence(Type CL-6) enclosure around the newly installed storm drain in
the ponding basin in the Kingsburg region. Perform all work in accordance with Section 80, "Fences," of
the Standard Specifications and/or Project Specifications. Compensation for this work will be made at
an agreed lump sum price of$4,900, according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope,"of the Special
Provisions. This amount includes compensation for all labor, equipment, materials, traffic controls,
incidentals, markups, and profit for the above referenced work, no additional compensation will be
made.This amount will be paid as extra work.
This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.

TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART VII: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS
PART Vill: ADJUST COMPENSATION FOR THE ADDITIONAL LABOR TO CONSTRUCT CONCRETE
CURB AND GUTTER NEAR STA. 355+00(LT) IN SELMA REGION—EXTRA WORK
This compensation adjustment was requested by the contractor.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, adjust
compensation for the additional labor to construct approximately 33 linear feet of concrete curb and
gutter at sta. 355+00, (LT), in the Selma region. This compensation adjustment will be made as extra
work at force account, according to Section 9-1,03, "Payment Scope,"of the Special Provisions.Total
compensation for this work resulted in $1,149.85, this amount will be paid as extra work.
This extra work did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.
