"Changes and Extra VVork.^ of the Standard Soaoifirmtimno. replace o total of two (2)Type E damaged loops on northbound Golden State Boulevard at Mountain View intersection (approximate Sta. 189+00, Kingsburg region); a total of 12 Type D and 16 Type E loops at Whitson Street and Second Street intersection (approximate Sta. 288+00 to 289+00, Selma region), and two (2) Type E loops on southbound Golden State Boulevard at Merced Street intersection (approximate Sta. 597+50, Fowler region) as extra work. This work includes saw cutting the pavement to form grooves, cleaning and drying the grooves and surfaces, placing wire and sealant, and splicing the wires into the traffic signal systems. Perform all work according to the applicable sections of the Standard Specifications, Special Provisions, and/or any other Gpaoifioatinnmincluded in the contract documents. In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work,"of the Standard Specifications, compensate the contractor for placing the thermoplastic striping; 22,397 LF of combined Detail 39 and Detail 39A, in the Selma region, as extra work. This compensation adjustment is being made because this work was shown on the Plans, but no bid items were provided, Perform all work according to Section 84, "Markings," of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions.
