FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT {hereinafter "First Amendment") is made and
entered into this 20th day of March, 2018, by and between COUNTY OF FRESNO, a Political
Subdivision of the State of California, (hereinafter "COUNTY"), and Central Valley Toxicology, a
California corporation, whose address is 1580 Tollhouse Road, Clovis, California, hereinafter referred
to as "CONTRACTOR".
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, COUNTY and CONTRACTOR entered into Agreement number 16-286, dated 7th
day of Jun,~, 2016 (hereinafter "Agreement"), pursuant to which CONTRACTOR agreed to perform
evidentiary toxicology laboratory testing, expert testimony, and related services on behalf of the
COUNTY'S District Attorney and Sheriff's Offices; and
WHEREAS, COUNTY desires to increase the annual maximum so that the COUNTY Sheriff's
Offices may receive a greater quantity of services under the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, COUNTY desires to increase the annual maximum so that the Sheriff's Office may
expend up to $92,000.00 per year on the costs for services CONTRACTOR provides under the

WHEREAS, COUNTY and CONTRACTOR now desire to amend the Agreement, in order to
increase the annual maximum that COUNTY may expend on the costs for services provided to the
Sheriff's Offices to $92,000, which increases the total Agreement annual maximum to $150,000, and to
clarify the terms in the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which is
hereby acknowledged, COUNTY and CONTRACTOR agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
1. Section Five (5) (COMPENSATION/INVOICING) of the Agreement, Page Three (3),
lines Twenty-Two (22) through Twenty-Five (25) are deleted in their entirety and
replaced with the following:
"During the first year of this Agreement, i.e. July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2017, the
services for the Sheriff's Office, performed under this Agreement, shall not exceed
$22,000. During the second year of this Agreement, i.e. July 1, 2017, through June 30,
