1 FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
2 THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT ("First Amendment") is made and
3 ente~ed into this yt h day of June, 2016, by and between COUNTY OF FRESNO, a political
4 subdivision of the State of California, F resno , Californ ia (hereinafter "COUNTY"), and Alliant
5 ,International University, a private non-profit corpo ration, whose address is 5130 East Clinton
6 Way, Fresno, CA 93727 (hereina.fter "CONTRACTOR").
7 WITNESSETH:
8 WHEREAS, COUNTY and CONTRACTOR entered into Agreement number 15-244,
9 dated June 16, 2015 ("Agreement"), pursuant to which CONTRACTOR agreed to prov ide
10 community recidivism and crime reduction services to C?UNTY through June 30, 2016 ; and
11 WHEREAS , COUNTY and CONTRACTOR now desire to amend the Agreement in
12 order to extend the initial one (1) year term of the Agreement for an additional one (1) year
13 through June 30 , 2017.
14 . · NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of
15 which is hereby acknowledged, COUNTY and CONTRACTOR agree as follows:

1. Section 2. TERM of the Agreement, on page 1, lines 27 through 28, is deleted in
its entirety and replaced with the following :
"2. TERM
19 This Agreement shall become effective on July 1, 2016 and shall
20 terminate on June 30, 20 17 ."
21 COUNTY and CONTRACTOR a·gree that this First Amendment is sufficient to amend
22 the Agreement and, that upon execution of this F irst Amendment, the Agreement and this
23 First Amendment together shall be considered the Agreement.
24 The Agreement, ·as hereby amer:ded, is ratified and continued. All provisions, terms,

1 covenants, conditions and promises contained in the Agreement · and not amended herein
2 shall remain in full force and effect.
