AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY OF FRESNO
1. This agreement is entered into by Assistance League® of Fresno, hereinafter referred to as
Assistance League, located at 2037 W. Bullard, PMB 306, Fresno, CA 93711-1200, and the
County of Fresno.
2. Dream Dress is a philanthropic program designed by Assistance League to provide formal
attire including dresses, shoes, handbags, and jewelry to middle and high school foster,
homeless, and girls in need for school dances or special school related functions.
3. Obligations of Assistance League
A. Assistance League shall furnish formal dresses, shoes, handbags, and jewelry . Service
will be provided to referred girls as needed until designated program funds are
exhausted.
B. Assistance League shall assume all financial obligations relative to the provision or
purchase of the items described in 3A. No funds shall be provided to the organization .
C. Financial contributions to this program by Assistance League shall be made only as
stipulated in the terms of this agreement.
D. Assistance League shall maintain liability insurance coverage for this program.
Assistance League shall defend , indemnify and hold County of Fresno harmless against
all claims and damages that are the fault of Assistance League.
E. Assistance League shall evaluate the program every two years and ask for input from
the County of Fresno personnel.
4. Obligations of County of Fresno
A. County of Fresno shall maintain liability insurance coverage for this program. County of
Fresno shall defend, indemnify and hold Assistance League harmless against all claims
and damages that are the fault of County of Fresno.
B. County of Fresno shall appoint a contact person to interface with Assistance League .
C. Authorized County of Fresno personnel shall screen/identify prospective recipients or
participants.
D. County of Fresno shall be responsible for transporting the eligible girls to the Dream
Dress site where the formal wear is located for pre-arranged appointments . They will
supervise and assist the girls in choosing their formal wear and accessories .
5. Public relations
A. Assistance League and County of Fresno shall have prominent identification with the
program.
B. Assistance League shall reserve the right to review and approve all publicity releases,
brochures and other written material relative to the program, all of which shall mention
Assistance League and County of Fresno.
C. Photos and names of recipients shall not be used without written permission of those
directly involved.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Agreement as of the
day and year hereinabove written .
