HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgreement A-16-132 with Marjoree Mason Center.pdf1 SECOND ADDENDUM TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING 2 Marjaree Mason Center, Inc and the Fresno County Sheriff's Office 3 This Second Addendum to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is made and entered into 4 this __ day of April 2016, by and between Marjaree Mason Center, Inc. and the Fresno 5 County Sheriff's Office. 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 1. The Fresno County Sheriff's Office shall reimburse the Marjaree Mason Center (MMC) up to $46,980 for services rendered by MMC during the period of 1/1/16 to 12/31/16 as set forth in accordance with the Law Enforcement Specialized Units Program grant agreement awarded to County, a copy of which has been provided to MMC. County's obligation to make such payments to MMC are subject to County's actual receipt of grant monies pursuant to the grant agreement and MM C's compliance with the terms of the grant agreement. 2. The MMC will closely coordinate the following services with the Fresno County Sheriff's Office as set forth in accordance with the Law Enforcement Specialized Units program grant agreement a. Assign a full-time victim advocate to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office that will be housed within the Domestic Violence Unit at the Fresno County Sheriff's Office. 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 b. Shall submit quarterly invoices to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office. 3. INSURANCE: It is understood and agreed that without limiting the right of either party to obtain indemnification from the other party or any third parties, County of Fresno and MMC shall maintain insurance policies of self-insurance programs to fund their respective liabilities. Evidence of insurance, e.g., Certificates of Insurance or other similar documentation, shall not be required of either party under this agreement. 4. HOLD HARMLESS: Marjaree Mason Center agrees to indemnify, save, hold harmless and at 25 COUNTY'S request, defend the COUNTY, its officers, agents, and employees from any and all 1
