Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for this
contract. Because of the change(s), ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract time.
FURNISH AND INSTALL AN ALTERNATE TRAFFIC SIGNAL POLE AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER
This change was proposed by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, furnish and
install an alternate traffic signal pole J 26-4-113 with a 45-feet long mast arm in lieu of signal pole J 24-4-113
with a 35-feet long mast arm (previously approved) at sta. 16+85.86, 40.12L (northeast corner), as shown on
the attached revised Plan Sheets 6, 10, and 11. Compensation for this change will be made at an agreed
lumpsum price of$1,468.04 (difference in price of the two poles, plus 15-percent markup on materials,
and plus 10-percent prime contractor markup [$1,160.50+$174.08+$133.46=$1,468.04)), according to
Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Special Provisions. This amount will be paid as extra work.
This change did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.
NET COST THIS CHANGE ORDER: A $1,468.04 INCREASE
