AMENDMENT II TO AGREEMENT 13-529
This AMENDMENT II to AGREEMENT 13-529 (hereinafter referred to as
4 "Amendment Ir') is made and entered into this . ...1§L day of July , 2015, by and between.
5 the COUNTY OF FRESNO, a political subdivision of the Stateof California, hereinafter referred to
6 as "COUNTY'', and City of Fowler whose address is 128 S. Fifth Street, Fowler, CA93625,
7 hereinafter referred to as "CITY''.
8 WHEREAS, the parties entered into Agreement No. 13-529 dated September 10,2013
9 and effective July 1, 2013 for the performance of law enforcement dispatch services/9-1-1
answering responsibilities for CITY by the COUNTY's Sheriffs Office ("Sheriff'); and,

WHEREAS, COUNTY and CITY entered into Amendment I to Agreement 13-529, dated
11 August 19, 2014, in order to extend the term of the agreement and change the compensation to
12 be paid by CITY beginning July 1, 2014 (Agreement No. 13-529 and Amendment I to Agreement
13 No. 13-529 are hereinafter collectively referred to as ''the Agreemenf'); and,
WHEREAS, COUNTY and CITY now desire to modify the Agreement by extending 14

the term of the agreement and changing the compensation to be paid by CITY beginning July 1,

2015.
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy
ofwliich is hereby acknowledged, COUNTY and the CITY agree as follo1Ns:

1. That Section No. 3. TERM, beginning on page 2, line 20 and ending on line 21 be
deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: ''This Agreement shall become
effective on the 1•t day of July, 2013 and shall terminate on the 30111 day of June, 2016."
2. That Amended Exhibit A shall be deleted and replaced with Amended Exhibit A-1,
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, and all references to
Amended Exhibit A in the Agreement will be amended to state "Amended ExhibitA-1".
COUNTY and CITY agree that this Amendment 11 is sufficient to amend the Agreement and

that upon execution of this Amendment II, the Agreement together with Amendment I and

Amendment II shall be considered the Agreement, as amended.
