Dear Mr. Athwal:
On June 20, 2023, the Fresno County Board of Supervisors authorized the Director of the Department
of Public Health to provide 60 days written notice to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of its intent to
terminate Agreement No. 13-213 between the County of Fresno and the IRS, pursuant to the Duration
of Agreement provision of the Agreement.
This letter serves as the County of Fresno's 60-day notice to terminate Agreement No. 13-213, which
concerned the provision of medical prophylaxis in a closed point of dispensing (CPOD). The
Agreement will terminate on September 12, 2023.
