Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for
this contract. Because of the change(s), ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract time.
CONSTRUCT A CAST-IN-PLACE CONCRETE CULVERT IN LIEU OF A PRECAST CONCRETE
CULVERT
This change was requested by the contractor.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, construct a
cast-in-place reinforced concrete culvert in lieu of a precast reinforced concrete culvert on Tollhouse
Road. Construct culvert per Standard Plan D81 with the same inlet, outlet and length dimensions as
shown on the plans. Provide all required submittals and shop drawings, including a false work plan for
review and approval. Construct the new culvert in two phases, allowing the traffic to always pass through
the project site. Perform the work according to the applicable sections of the Standard Specifications and
Special Provisions. This change is being made at no additional cost.
No additional time will be granted for this change.
