1 AMENDMENT 1 TO AGREEMENT#13-284
2 THIS AMENDMENT (hereinafter"Amendment No. 1") to Agreement No. 13-284
3 (hereinafter "Agreement") is made and entered into this 26th day of September, 2017, by
4 and between the COUNTY OF FRESNO, a Political Subdivision of the State of
5 California, hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY", and the Fresno/City County Historical
6 Society, a non-profit corporation, hereinafter referred to as "CONTRACTOR".
7 WITNESSETH:
8 WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the CONTRACTOR entered into County
9 Agreement No. 13-284, dated May 21, 2013, pursuant to which the CONTRACTOR
10 agreed to provide, and has been providing, services related to the development,
11 enhancement, and maintenance of cultural, historical and social resources of Fresno
12 County; in addition to the administration and operation of the Kearney Mansion
13 Museum; and
14 WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the CONTRACTOR now desire to amend the
15 Agreement, in order to allow for the services to continue for a period of five (5) years;
16 and
17 NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and
18 adequacy of which is hereby acknowledged, the COUNTY and the CONTRACTOR
19 hereby agree to amend the original Agreement, as follows:
20 1. Article 9 of the Agreement, at page 9, line 28 through page 10, line 2,
21 is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
22 "V. TERM
23 The term of this Agreement shall begin on October 1, 2012, and shall continue in
24 full force and effect until September 30, 2018, unless it is terminated earlier as
25 hereinafter provided.

1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment No. 1 to
2 Agreement as of the day and year first hereinabove written.
