TO: YARBS GRADING AND PAVING, INC.:
Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for
this contract. Because of the change(s), ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract timeline.
PART I: REVISE PROJECT PLANS IN KINGSBURG REGION
This change was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, replace plan
sheets 36, 38, 39, 40, and 41 with the attached revised sheets 36B, 38C, 39A, 40A, and 41A in the Kingsburg
region. These revised plans sheets revise the cross slopes only, the storm drain revisions will be addressed in
Part 11 of this change order. These revisions are made at no additional cost.
These changes did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.
TOTAL COST PART I: $0.00 (NO COST)
TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART I: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS
PART II: REVISE STORM DRAIN IN KINGSBURG REGION
This change was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, replace plan
sheets 37D, 53D, and 61 C with the attached revised sheets 37E, 53E, and 61 D to reflect the redesign of the
storm drain in the Kingsburg Region. The revisions shown on the revised sheets are blocked out for
clarification. The following bid items were increased or decreased due to these revisions:

The redesign includes installation of two (2) 5.4-feet long, 3" x 8" rectangular steel tubes at sta. 59+18.
Compensation for this work will be made at an agreed lumpsum price of$3,300 according to Section 9-1.03,
"Payment Scope," of the project. This amount includes compensation for all labor, equipment, materials,
additional potholing, incidentals, markups and profit, no additional compensation will be made. This amount will
be paid through Bid Item No. 3, Supplemental Work, with no net increase to the contract.
The redesign also eliminates a COK Curb Inlet(Bid Item No. 44, COK Curb Inlet decreased, as shown above);
this eliminates the additional compensation of$1,457.50 previously approved in Part I of Contract Change
Order No. 10. This amount will be credited back in Bid Item No. 3, Supplemental Work with no net change to
the contract.
These changes did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.
TOTAL COST PART II: A $32,220.00 INCREASE
TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART II: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS
PART III: ADJUST COMPENSATION FOR INSTALLING CULVERT PIPE UNDER TWO DRIVEWAYS IN
KINGBURG REGION
This change was requested by the contractor.
Compensate the contractor for the installation of a 3-inch, Schedule 40 pipe, under two driveway approaches
(at sta. 58+16 and 58+89, total length of 72 feet), as shown on the plans in the Kingsburg region.
Compensation for this work will be made at an agreed lumpsum price of$5,052.66 according to Section 9-
1.03, "Payment Scope," of the project. This amount includes compensation for all labor, equipment, materials,
incidentals, markups and profit, no additional compensation will be made. This amount will be paid through Bid
Item No. 3, Supplemental Work, with no net increase to the contract.
This compensation adjustment did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional
contract time was not warranted.

PART IV: REVISE TOP LAYER HOT MIX ASPHALT THICHKNESS IN KINGSBURG AND FOWLER
REGIONS
This change was requested by the contractor.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, revise the top
layer hot mix asphalt thickness from 0.18-foot to the 0.20-foot and utilize 3/-inch mix in lieu of 1/2-inch mix in
Kingsburg and Fowler regions. The following bid items were increased or decreased due to this change:
