Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for
this contract. Because of the change(s), ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract timeline.
PART I: REVISE PROJECT PLANS IN KINGSBURG REGION
This change was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, replace plan
sheets 5, 20, 21, 55, and 56 with the attached revised sheets 5A, 20A, 21A, 55A, and 56A in the Kingsburg
region. These plan sheets are being revised to widen the northbound outside shoulder in order to install a
Midwest Guard Railing System between sta. 118+00 and 122+00. The revisions shown on the revised sheets
are blocked out for clarification. The following bid items were increased due to these revisions:

The revisions also included construction of approximately 45 cubic yards of additional embankment and
placement of 1,043 square feet of hydro-mulch, compensation for this work will be made as extra work at an
agreed lumpsum price of$34,996.50, according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the project. This
amount will be paid through Bid Item No. 3, Supplemental Work,with no net increase to the contract.
These changes did not impact the critical path for the project, therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.

This change was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, replace plan
sheets 28, 39A, 40, 41, 42, 43, 46, 48, 50, 51A, 54B, 55A, and 59 with the attached revised sheets 28A, 39B,
40A, 41A, 42A, 43A, 46A, 48A, 50A, 51B, 54C, 55B, and 59A in the Fowler region. These plan sheets mainly
revised the finish elevations as the improvements are being constructed and revised the grades for concrete
curb. The revisions shown on the revised sheets are blocked out for clarification. These revisions are being
made at no additional cost.
These changes did not impact the critical path for the project,therefore, granting additional contract time was
not warranted.

PART III: REVISE PROJECT PLAN IN FOWLER REGION
This change was requested by the engineer.

Sheet 44A with the attached revised Plan Sheet 44B in the Fowler region in order to revise the reconstruction
area. The revisions shown on the revised sheet are blocked out for clarification. The following bid items were
increased or decreased due to these revisions:
