RE: One-Year Extension of Agreement No. 22-110 with the Fresno County Probation Department to
provide services for the Pretrial Services Expansion Program
Dear Presiding Judge Kalemkarian,
The purpose of this letter is to inform you of a one-year extension request of Agreement No.22-110,with
the Fresno County Probation Department, to provide pre-arraignment and pretrial risk assessments on
individuals booked into the County's jail and monitoring of individuals released on Pretrial. Agreement
No. 22-110, which was approved by the Board of Supervisors on March 22,2022, allowed for the option
of two additional,consecutive twelve-month extensions,upon written approval of both parties,authorizing
the Chief Probation Officer to execute such written approval on behalf of the County.
The Fresno County Probation Department would like to exercise the option for the second additional year
to extend the Agreement from July 1,2023,through June 30,2024. if you,as the signing authority for the
Superior Court of California,County of Fresno—Pretrial Services Expansion Program,would also like the
Agreement to be extended as stated,please sign and date on the line below and return this letter by June 01,
2023,to:
