RE: One-Year Extension of Agreement No. 22-110 with the Fresno County Probation Department to
provide services for the Pretrial Services F'xpansicm Program
Dear Presiding Judge Kalentkar-ian.
]'he purpose of this letter is to inform you of a one-year extension request of Agreement No. 22-1 10 with
the Fresno County Probation Department to provide pre-arraignment and pretrial risk assessments on
individuals booked into the County s jail and monitoring of individuals released on Pretrial. Agreement
No. 22-1 10. which was approved by the Board of Supervisors on March 22. 1-022. allowed for the option
of two additional_consecutive twelve-month extensions, upon written approval of both parties.authorizing
the Chief Probation Officer to execute such written approval cm behalfol'the County.
The Fresno County Probation Department would like to exercise the option fir the first additional year to
cstend the Agreement from .lulu 1. 2022. through .tune 30, 2023. If you, as the signing authority fiir the.
Superior Court of California,County of Fresno - Pretrial Services C xpansion Program, would also like the
Agreement to be extended as stated,please sign and date on the line below and return this letter by June 30.
