Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for this
contract. Because of the change(s), ZERO 0 -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract time.
ADJUST COMPENSATION TO RESOLVE POTENTAIL CLAIM NO. 1
In accordance with Section 9-1.17D(3), "Final Determination of Claims," of the Standard Specifications,
adjust compensation as the dispute resolution for Potential Claim No. 1. This potential claim was based
on the fact that there was no payment clause included in the Project Specifications nor in the Standard
Specifications for Bid Item No. 17, Processing RAP (Cold Central Plant Recycling). The original claim
was filed for an amount of$84,789.75; this claim was found to have partial merit. The settlement
concludes splitting this amount equally, the County will pay you ($84,789.75i2=$42,394.88) $42,394.88 as
the dispute settlement. This amount is considered the full and final payment as the dispute resolution for
this claim, no additional compensation or additional contract time will be granted.
NET COST THIS CHANGE ORDER: A $42,394.88 INCREASE
NET TIME EXTENSION THIS CHANGE ORDER: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS
