Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for
this contract. Because of the change(s), 31-WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract time.
PART I: INCREASE/DECREASE/ELIMINATE ITEMS AT UNIT BID PRICES
This change was proposed by the engineer.
Item quantities in the Bid Book and subsequent change orders are estimates only. This part adjusts item
quantities to the actual quantities used.

This work did not impact the critical path for the project, so granting additional contract time was not warranted.

TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART I: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS
PART II: AJDUST COMPENSATION FOR REMOBILIZATION TO COMPLETE A PORTION OF THE
TRAIL AT A LATER DATE
This compensation adjustment was requested by the contractor.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications,
compensate the contractor for remobilization to complete the remaining portion of the trail at a later
date, between sta. 50+00 and 52+00, due to the adjacent resident did not relocate his fence in time.
This payment adjustment will be made at an agreed lumpsum price of$4,600 according to Section 9-
1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Special Provisions. This amount will be paid as extra work.
A total of seven (7)-working days will be granted for this work.

TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART II: SEVEN (7) -WORKING DAYS
PART III: COMPENSATE FOR THE ADDITIONAL TREE REMOVAL IN EXCESS OF 125 PERCENT
OF THE ORIGINAL BID QUANTITY OF BID ITEM NO. 13 - EXTRA WORK
This compensation adjustment was proposed by the engineer.
Compensate for removal of the additional trees and stumps in excess of 125 percent of the original
estimated quantity of Bid Item No. 13, Remove Tree and Associated Stump, according to Section 9-
1.06B, "Increases of More Than 25 Percent," of the Standard Specifications. The estimated bid
quantity was 32 trees and their associated stumps, and a total of 57 trees and their associated stumps
were removed. The quantity up to 125 percent of the estimated bid quantity (40 trees and their
associated stumps) is paid at the unit price of$840, and the remainder (17 trees and associated
stumps) is being paid at an agreed adjusted unit price of$755, as extra work. The additional
compensation (17 x $755 = $12,835) resulted in $12,835. This amount will be paid as extra work.
This work did not impact the critical path for the project, so granting additional contract time was not warranted.

TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART III: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS
PART IV: COMPENSATE FOR THE ADDITIONAL STUMP REMOVAL IN EXCESS OF 125
PERCENT OF THE ORIGINAL BID QUANTITY OF BID ITEM NO. 14 - EXTRA WORK
This compensation adjustment was proposed by the engineer.
Compensate for removal of the stumps in excess of 125 percent of the original quantity of Bid Item No.
14, Remove Stump, according to Section 9-1.06B, "Increases of More Than 25 Percent," of the
Standard Specifications. The estimated bid quantity was 27 stumps, and a total of 73 stumps were
removed. The quantity up to 125 percent of the estimated bid quantity (33.75 stumps) is paid at the
unit price of$360, and the remainder (39.25 stumps) is being paid at an agreed adjusted unit price of
$300 as extra work. The additional compensation resulted in (39.25 x $300 = $11,775) $11,775. This
amount will be paid as extra work.
This work did not impact the critical path for the project, so granting additional contract time was not warranted.
TOTAL COST PART IV: A $11,775 INCREASE
TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART IV: ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS
PART V: INSTALL CUSTOMIZED TRAIL SIGNS— EXTRA WORK
This change was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, install a total of
four (4) customized trail signs made from wood planks, as per instructions provided previously via an email, in
lieu of the specified typical signs. Compensation for this work will be made as extra work at an agreed
additional lumpsum price of$4,560 (in addition to the compensation made in Bid Item No. 28, Trail Sign),
according to Section 9-1.03, "Payment Scope," of the Special Provisions. This amount will be paid as extra
work.
The project is currently suspended for the procurement of these signs, so granting additional contract time was
not warranted.

PART VI: GRANT A TIME EXTENSION

Grant a time extension of 24-working days according to Section 8-1.076, "Time Adjustments," of the
Special Provisions. This time extension includes 13-working days for inclement weather/wet subgrade
conditions and 11-working days for the materials delivery delays.
