Make the following changes to the plans and specifications or do work not in the plans and specifications for
this contract. Because of the change(s), ZERO (0) -WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract time.
INCLUDE FORM FHWA-1273 AND THE FEDERAL MINIMUM WAGE RATES IN THE SIGNED
"AGREEMENT"
This change was requested by the engineer.
In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, include the
attached form FHWA-1273 and the Federal Minimum Wage Rates to the singed "Agreement' of the contract
documents. No compensation will be made for this change.
This change does not impact the project schedule; therefore, no additional time will be granted.

DESCRIPTION:
Include form FHWA-1273 and the Federal Minimum Wage Rates in the signed "Agreement."
WHY:
The form FHWA-1273 and the Federal Minimum Wage Rates were included in the Project
Specifications, but not in the signed "Agreement." Upon project review by Caltrans, it became
apparent that these documents need to be included in the signed "Agreement." Therefore, it
was necessary to add these two documents to the signed "Agreement."
HOW:
The contractor is being directed to include the form FHWA-1273 and the Federal Minimum Wage
Rates to the signed "Agreement," according to Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the
Standard Specifications. This change is being made at no additional cost.
COST:
$0.00 (No Cost)
