Because of the change(s), ZERO (0) WORKING DAYS will be added to the contract time. PART I: REVISE PLAN SHEET NO. C2-7 THROUGH C2-10, AND C2-12 TO REALIGN THE WATERMAIN— EXTRA WORK This change was requested by the Engineer. According to Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, replace Plan Sheet No. C2-7 through C2-10, and C2-12 with the revised plan sheets (attached), to realign the watermain along the southside of Clarkson Ave between approximate sta. 104+40 and 112+80; and sta. 125+80 and 136+50. This change is made due to conflict with the underground utilities. Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials for potholing and installing the watermain at the new alignment . Compensation for this work will be made as extra at force account on time and material basis according to Section 9-1.04, "Force Account," of the Standard Specifications. The total compensation resulted in $88,636.95, this amount will be paid as extra work. This change also caused minor increase/decrease to some of the bid items, the affected bid items will be increased or decrease at the unit bid prices through a balancing change order. This change did not impact the project completion date, therefore, granting additional time was not warranted. TOTAL COST PART I: A $88,636.95 INCREASE TOTAL TIME EXTENSION PART I: ZERO-WORKING DAYS PART II: REPAIR EXISTING WATER LEAKS (EL PORVENIR) — EXTRA WORK In accordance with Section 4-1.05, "Changes and Extra Work," of the Standard Specifications, repair two existing leaky service laterals on El Progresso Avenue, at Sta. 2+90.48 and Sta. 2+15. as extra work. Perform the work according to the applicable sections of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. Compensation for this work will be made as extra at force account on time and material basis according to Section 9-1.04, "Force Account," of the Standard Specifications. The total compensation resulted in $5,728.04, this amount will be paid through Bid Item No. 9, "Supplemental Work Allowance," with no net increase to the contract. This work did not impact the project completion date, therefore, granting additional time was not warranted. Perform the work according to the applicable sections of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. Compensation for this work will be made as extra at force account on time and material basis according to Section 9-1.04, "Force Account," of the Standard Specifications. The total compensation resulted in $4,300.51, this amount will be paid through Bid Item No. 45, "Supplemental Work Allowance," with no net increase to the contract. This work did not impact the project completion date, therefore, granting additional time was not warranted.
