DESCRIPTION
Grant a time extension.
WHY:
Grant the contractor a 151 working days’ time extension for the following reasons:
• 133 days’ time extension for the contract suspension (associated with lining of Pond
No. 2 at Cantua Creek facility-extra work).
• 6 days’ time extension for the additional time required for the extra work (in addition
to the time granted in Part I of CCO No. 1).
• 12 days’ time extension due to the inclement weather/wet subgrade.
HOW
A time extension of 151 working days is being granted according to Section 8-1.07B, “Time
Adjustments,” of the Special Provisions.
