AMEND!VI_ENT II TO AGREEMENT
2 THIS AMENDMENT U TO AGRtEMENT (hereinafter "Amendment") is made and
3 '.entered into·this 12t~day of December, 2017, by and between COUNTY OF FRESNO, a

4 · Political Subdivision of the State of California, Fresn0, California (hereinafter "COUNTY"), and
5 FIG GARDEN POLICE PROTECTION DISTRICT (FGPPD), a police protection district formed
6 ,pursuant to Health and Safety code section 20300 et seq., whose address is PO Box 5932,
7 Fresno, CA 93755, (hereinafter "DISTRICT").

·wlTNESSETH:
WHEREAS, COUNTY and DISTRICT entered into. Agreement number 15-374, dated
10 August 11, 2015 , pursuant to which DISTRICT agreed to contract to COUNTY to provide law
11 . ,enforcement services within DISTRICT's bot.1ndaries and Amendment I to Agreement 15--374,
12 dated June 21, 2016, extending the term of Agreement 15-374 and changing the
13 c:;ompensation to be paid by DISTRICT beginni[lg July 1, 2016 (Agreement 15-37 4 and
14 Amendment I to Agreement 15-374, together, shall be referred to herein as "the Agreement"); ·
15 and
16 WHEREAS, COUNTY and DISTRICT now desire to amend the Agreement to extend
17 the ter~ of the agreement and change the compensation to be paid by DISTRICT beginning ·
18 July 1, 2017.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of
20 ,which is hereby acknowledged, COUNTY and DISTRICT agree as follows:
21 1. Section 3 of the Agreement, located on page 3, line 1 and ending on page 3, line
22 · 2 is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following

"This Agreement shall be effective from the 1st day of July, 2015, and shall
terminate on the 30 th day of June, 2018, unless and until terminated by either party
